Books play an important part of our lives. Everyone in awhile we also catch wind of an interesting movie or video, Ted Talk or other works of art that we feel might be of interest to you. Creativity and spirituality are, after all, all about sharing. We share the things that make us cry and the things that make us laugh.
Gathering together whether over coffee or the water cooler, it is human nature to want to share with our fellows those things that both disturb and inspire us.
Please share your favorites and let us know what you think of ours.
Our current favorite read is by author Sybil Dana Reynolds. Ink and Honey is one of those must read books for all who are interested in historical fiction written in the time period when many of the saints were in tremendous danger because of the Inquisition.
The women of Belle Coeur have stories to share. Stories that they know cannot be lost and must be passed on. This is an excellent read.
Dana has graciously allowed us to reprint from a Sacred Illuminations blog, Hildegard of Bingen: Awakening the Senses, she previously posted on Patheos, we think you will find interesting.
