After over 20 years of ongoing research for Saints Preserved, I’ve come to realize that there are many people who have walked among us, in recent memory and now, who should be recog­nized as “saints.”  The Roman Catholic Church has its own process, but it’s not the only one (It did take them nearly a millen­nium to canonize Hildegard).
